December 20, 1998.  Letter to Andreas Goppold.

Andreas,

Very glad you wrote. Good holiday wishes to you also! I must make a short disclaimer first ... I don't work at (a) consistent accelerated pace. So, as we communicate in the future, please bear with my pacings and action time.

That said, I'm grateful to look over your shoulder at your own work and yours with Herta von Dechend.   . . .

. . .  Seriously, I had no idea, all my years, that "semiotics" even existed. One of my first active forays into the situation of embedded and coded linguistics was when I took Etymology (Latin & Greek) as a requisite pre-Medical degree course (1965). (I never went on to becone a physician, but the course has been an excellent foundation for the work I did end up pursuing.).

It became apparent to me that EVERY human concept and existential cognition, EVERY and ALL of them, could be traced back to physical relations and dynamics, EXPERIENCED and perceived and reacted to with phonemes and gestures, that, enacted in coordination with and transmitted to offspring ... in combination of internal and external "environments" ... became human language and communication and so on.

Potential and even happenstantial combinations of all these relations, sounds, actions, content and so on blossomed hyper-exponentially, into extraordinary diversities which created totally new "concept environments"
... spaces. Rich and varied.

But underscoring it all, remained simple physical dynamics, comprehensible and decipherable.

At least that is my particular vision of it all ... language, concepts, meaning.

But most importantly, our "ignorant" ancestors were NOT so 'ignorant' after all.     It was THEIR observances and cognizances which DEFINED - quite accurately and exquisitely - the primal meme-phoneme associations that are the basis of human communcation today. They appreciated subtleties and connections that go glossed over and unappreciated in our "knowledge arrogant" modern world.

Regarding a particular reference in one of your writings "cunniform05" ...

I place extreme importance on the universal-construction called Time. In many academic tracings through the ancient millenia Saturn and Kronos are indeed identical at times   .. gods of "time".  Less known, but equally important, is the Egyptian primordial god HeH ... "Eternity" ... represented by the rope of infinity that bounds around all sacred Egyptian cartouches.  I believe that HeH may be synonimous with the Hebraic "yih-yeh" (adonai) (Yehovah). (!)

(It's amusing to me that HeH is celebrated in very few artistic renderings in Middle and Late Egyptian Kingdoms. In fact HeH is for the most part forgotten in the Egyptian pantheon.  The only image I've seen of it ... though I really haven't searched all that hard .. is on the throne chair of Tutankhamen. Yet, it seems that HeH - The Eternal - is the God many religions pray to TODAY! )
