My reason for making the following letter public is to show concept provenance. As shown in the Notice 1 papers distribution listings and the Santa Fe Institute confirmation letter shown below, I was actively enunciating these ideas in the early 1970's and, since February 1992 disseminating Integrity Paradigm concepts to the current research community. In particular, "complexity" formation being the result of interactions between the "behavior spaces" of nested levels of organization, under the impetus of each's local entropy tendencies, the plural (positive/negative inverse) entropies together, and, the capacities to process plural levels of different information through gaussian ranges (extended option spaces).
As indicated in the letter, the ideas were not considered relevant by the reviewing SFI staff at the time, but since then, several have taken up and incorporated Integrity Paradigm concepts and dynamic relationship ideas in their published works ... without citing exposure to the material which I distributed to them, their colleagues and organizations.
Since I did most of my work outside the standard academic venues, it might be easy to justify glossing over my presence. Fortunately I've had enough documented contact with so many early Systems/Complexity thinkers, starting in the late 1960's early 1970's, that I anticipate that my contributions will be acknowledged and accounted for someday.
Ergo my candor in making public this seeming "rejection letter" . . .
